RELIGIOUS SENSITIVITY
White Info icon with grey background

Data is gathered from CIA World Factbook.

Uganda's constitution states that there shall be no official state religion. The population is primarily Christian—the largest two groups being Roman Catholic and Anglican—and a majority of the remainder is Muslim. Government efforts to promote unity and charity between religious groups seem to go unheeded as various churches, advocacy groups, and organizations accuse each other of religious discrimination.

TRANSPORTATION

Travel through Uganda is primarily by foot, bicycle, or public transportation. The public transportation is not always the most reliable, nor is it a very comfortable experience being extremely croweded. Transportation by bicycle is the most recommended mode, but it can be tiresome if biking long distances without preparation or training.
